Women's Golf Finishes Fourth at Mt. Holyoke, Tops in NESCACSeptember 30, 2001
The Jeffs shot two of their best rounds at the Mt. Holyoke Invitational, recording scores of 345 and 336 for a two-day total of 681, good for fourth place. Central Conn. St. won the team title with a score of 662, one stroke ahead of Methodist College , and 16 ahead of third place Dartmouth College. Senior captain Jaime Ratner (Liberty, NY)shot a team-best 84-81, good for fifth place, while first-year Meg Sullivan (Northampton, MA) and Kathryn Kuchefski (Wellesley, MA) tied for 20th place with total scores of 172. Meanwhile, at the NESCAC Individual Tournament, Jeannie Limpert (Bethesda, MD) placed first overall with a weekend of 82-98-180, one stroke ahead of teammate Kasarin Chakkaphak (New York) who shot 97-84-181.
