Women's Golf Eighth at Boston College Lady Eagle Invitational

CHESNUT HILL, MA - Junior Katie Gravel (Manchester, ME) fired a two-day total of 85-86-171 to lead the Amherst College women's golf team to an eighth-place finish at the Lady Eagle Invitational, Saturday and Sunday, at Boston College. The Jeffs finished with a score of 360-364-724 overall.

Brown University captured the title with a two-round total of 636, while host Boston College finished in second place with a two-day total of 683. First-years Emily Foran (Dallas, PA) and Meg Sulivan (Northampton, MA) also shot rounds of 92-87-179 and 92-98-190, respectively, for Amherst.

The Jeffs return to action Sunday at the Hartford Invitational.
