2002 Amherst Men's Lacrosse Milestones

TEAM ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
*Finished with a 9-7 overall record, 5-4 in conference play.
*Earned the No. 4 seed in the NESCAC Postseason Championship Tournament, where they downed Tufts University, 10-7, before falling to top-seeded host Middlebury College, 16-5.
*Finished the season with four wins in their last five games, including four straight over NESCAC rivals Bates, Conn., Williams and Tufts.
*Finished the season ranked fifth in New England according to the final NEILA Division III rankings.

INDIVIDUAL ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
Junior Midfielder Matt Margolis (Shorts Hills, NJ)
*Second-Team All-NESCAC.

Junior Attackman Chris Condlin (Baltimore, MD)
*NESCAC Spring All-Academic

First-Year Attackman Alex Casertano (Millbrook, NY)
*Finished in a three-way tie for eighth in the NESCAC in scoring with 44 points (20 goals, 24 assists).
*Fifth in the NESCAC in assists with 24.

First-Year Goaltender Cushing Donelan (Noroton, CT)
*Fifth-leading goaltender in the NESCAC with a 9.51 goals against average.
