Mulvey and Ingraham Each Knock Down 22 as the Jeffs Blast WNEC 105-69
Amherst shoots 65% from the field and run away with their 3rd in a row

AMHERST, Massachusetts -- The Amherst College Lord Jeffs improved their early season record to 3-0 behind the stellar guard play of Patrick Mulvey (Rye, NH) and Chris Ingraham (Tucson, AZ). Mulvey, averaging 25.6 points per game, scored 22 (20 in the first half) to go along with 6 rebounds and 3 assists. Ingraham had the hot hand from behind the arc, shooting 5 for 6 from three-point range. Amazingly, Ingraham scored all 22 of his points in just 16 minutes on the court.

Amherst also received an added boost from the play of their two point guards. Caith Chapman (Maumee, OH) only scored 2 points, but he dished out 8 assists to Mulvey and the other Amherst scorers. Brian Daoust (Dover, MA) once again came off the bench to give the Jeffs a spark. In just 10 minutes, Daoust scored 11 points, passed for 3 assists and had three steals. Daoust continued to display his fiery touch from downtown, shooting 2 for 4 from three-point land.

Many young players saw significant playing time, highlighted by the high-flying, electrifying Abe Sexson (Athens, Greece). In the final half, Sexson took over the game, shooting 4 for 7 from the field (8 points) and dominating the paint with his imposing size.

The Jeffs travel to Boston to take on Babson College this Thursday evening at 8:00.
