AMHERST, Massachusetts -- Behind 20 points from senior shooting guard Chris Ingraham (Tucson, AZ), the Amherst College Lord Jeffs improved their record to 5-2 with a 97-56 basting of the Johnson & Wales University Wildcats. The Jeffs raced out to a comfortable 50-26 halftime lead and coasted home for the decisive victory. Amherst shot 72.4% from the field in the first half and finished shooting 60.3% for the game. The loss drops the Wildcats to 0-8. Amherst plays again this coming Thursday evening at home against Skidmore College at 7:00 p.m.
