WELLESLEY, Massachusetts -- Junior guard Mike Kmiec scored 5 of his game-high 29 points in overtime and freshman Evan Carlson added 14 points to lead Babson (5-2) to an 78-75 upset of Amherst College (3-1) in overtime. Babson overcame a 36-25 halftime deficit thanks to a series of second-half runs which got them back into the game. Kmiec, who added eight rebounds in the win, was 11-for-18 from the floor to help Babson defeat Amherst for the first time in four years. Carlson scored in double-digits for the fourth straight game, nailing a pair of threes in OT to seal the win.

Sophomore Brian Daoust (Dover, MA) was high man for Amherst with 17 points. Junior Patrick Mulvey (Rye, NH) added 12 points and has scored in double-digits in all four Amherst games this winter. Junior Hugh Quattlebaum (Andover, MA) had a solid game, scoring 10 points on 5-for-11 shooting from the field and pulled down 6 rebounds.
