AMHERST, Massachusetts -- Michael St. Clair (East Longmeadow, MA) went 5-for-6 starting with his seventh home run of the season to lead Amherst College (15-4) to an 18-11 victory over American International College (7-14). St. Clair also posted four runs and knocked in four more as the Jeffs' leading hitter.

The Jeffs used a six-run fourth inning to post a 12-6 lead toward the win. AIC cut the deficit to 16-11 in the top of the eighth with four of the Yellow Jackets' 18 hits. Jon Juras (Latham, NY) led AIC as he went 3-for-4 with two doubles, an RBI single and three runs.
