WELLESLEY, Massachusetts -- Amherst College junior Andy Kay (North Easton, MA) and senior Matt Diggs (Seattle, WA) scored a pair of first half goals to help the Lord Jeffs (9-2) earn a 2-0 win over host Babson in men's soccer action.

Kay got the scoring started with his eighth goal of the year at 32:48 breaking in alone and beating Babson keeper Nick Todd for a 1-0 Lord Jeff lead. Diggs made it 2-0 with just :58 left in the half, picking up a free ball in the area and sliding it past Todd to account for the final.

Todd made eight saves in the net for the Beavers. Amherst senior Kevin Larner (Short Hills, NJ) was the beneficiary of a solid defensive effort, making just two saves to earn the win.
