Men's Basketball Splits Games at Cardinal Classic

Amherst defeated Plattsburgh State 63-60 in the consolation game of the Pepsi Cardinal Basketball Classic. The Jeffs had dropped their first game 80-66 to Plymouth State. Junior forward John Pavelski led the Jeffs with 35 points and 13 rebounds in two games to be named to the All-Tournament team. Amherst faces Clark at home on December 5 for their third game of the season.
