Jamal Wilson scored 24 points to lead the Jeffs to a 68-60 win over Framingham. While Amherst led by as much as 16, Framingham outscored the Jeffs 39-32 in the second half to cut the lead to four with 1:24 to play on a three-pointer by sophomore Todd Doughty. Framingham shot 51.7% in the second half and managed to keep Amherst scoreless for stretches as long as five minutes at a time.
The Rams kept the game close in the final minute, but sending John Pavelski to the line on three fouls gave the Jeffs another 6 points to finish out the game. Pavelski led the Jeffs with 10 rebounds, seven of them on the offensive glass.
Jason Reeves and Billy Denzel put up 16-points a piece to lead the Rams, who had four players in double figures.
