NCAA Women's Soccer Relocated to Connecticut College
Quarterfinal b/w Amherst and Elizabethtown Moved Because of Snow

AMHERST, Massachusetts -- The NCAA Women's Soccer National Quarterfinal between Amherst College and Elizabethtown College has been relocated to Harkness Green at Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut because of excessive snow burying Hitchcock Field on the Amherst College campus. The game will kick off at 12:00pm on Sunday, November 16 to determine one of the Final Four teams in the 1997 NCAA Championship.

Directions to Connecticut College are provided below. The trip takes approximately two hours from the Amherst area. There will be no charge for admission to the game.

Directions to Connecticut College from Amherst
Take I-91 South to I-84 East.
Approximately 1 mile after entering I-84, take the exit for Route 2 East.
Follow Route 2 heading southeast.
Exit onto I-395 South.
In approximately 10 minutes you will reach an exit for Route 32 South.
The main campus of Connecticut College is on Route 32 on your right.
Parking is available near the campus chapel by turning into the main entrance and following the road to the left.
Harkness Green will be in sight from the chapel.
