Women's Soccer Still Slated to Play
NCAA National Quarterfinal to Start at Noon on Saturday

AMHERST, Massachusetts -- Despite the sleet that has bombarded the region, the NCAA Women's Soccer National Quarterfinal game between Elizabethtown College and Amherst College is still scheduled for a noon start on Saturday.

A final decision will be made in an 8:00am meeting among tournament officials, and this verdict will be posted on both the internet and the voicemail of the Amherst Sports Information Director. Likewise, men's soccer in the NCAA New England Regional Championship is scheduled to proceed as planned in Brunswick, Maine. Amherst will face top-seeded Bowdoin at 10:30am with the winner advancing to the Championship game on Sunday at noon against the winner of Wheaton and Plymouth State.
