Amherst Takes Three from Bowdoin

AMHERST, Massachusetts -- Amherst claimed three victories on Hitchcock Field from Bowdoin College as Lord Jeff soccer and field hockey posted wins over some of the top teams in New England. Bowdoin women's soccer and field hockey were both ranked No. 1 in New England while Polar Bear men's soccer boasted a No. 4 rating. Amherst entered the matches with a No. 3 rank in New England for men's soccer, the No. 4 spot in the Metro region for women's soccer, and No. 4 in New England West for field hockey.
