WILLIAMS FOOTBALL POUNDS TRINITY

Williamstown, Mass.-  The Williams College football team jumped out to a
27-0 halftime lead and the Ephs defense held Trinity College to 94 rushing
yards and intercepted five Bantam passes en route to a 34-6 victory over
the Bantams this afternoon. Williams improves to a perfect 2-0, while
Trinity, ranked #7 in the ECAC Division III New England poll, falls to 1-1.
	Williams running back Fred Storz ran for the Ephs first touchdown
and threw for another to receiver Matt Sigrist on a halfback option play,
while Dan DiCenzo returned a Trinity fumble 18 yards for another Ephs
score. Williams quarterback Sean Keenan threw for 197 yards and one
touchdown to tight end David Nemeskal. Trinity junior quarterback Liam
McNeilly scored a touchdown on a one yard keeper.
	McNeilly threw for 116 yards and one interception and sophomore
tight end Sean Furey caught seven passes for 101 yards. Junior linebackers
Jeff Iudice (10 tackles) and Brian LaHaie (6.5 tackles, one sack) stood out
for Trinity defensively.
