About the Queer Peer Educators (QPEs)
The Amherst College Queer Peer Educators (QPEs) are a group of trained students who lead workshops in First-Year Dormitories each fall to promote awareness of LGBTQIA issues. Workshops focus on teaching students how to recognize and work toward eliminating heterosexism and homophobia on campus. They also introduce first-year students to the resources available at the college for LGBTQI students and their allies.

The Queer Peer Educators are also available to speak to other groups on campus upon request.

  Contact the QPEs
To learn more about the QPEs, contact Craig Cullinane, the Coordinator of LGBTQIA Student Services and Support, at ccullinane@amherst.edu.
