Amherst’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgendered, queer, intersex, and ally alumni have an organization all their own, called Amherst GALA. GALA maintains a list of LGBTQIA alumni and organizes social events throughout the year.

The biennial GLBT Alumni Weekend on the Amherst campus, during which alumni participate in mentoring workshops and socialize at their alma mater (the next is scheduled for Spring 2007).

An annual reception at Amherst Reunion.

Social activities in New York and other cities, including mixers with LGBTQIA alumni from other schools.
