Activities for International Students arriving early

Pickups from the airport. We will be driving to Boston Logan Airport to meet new international students and bringing them back to campus to settle them. You will be picked up only if you sent in a request. |
| 9:00 PM - Midnight | "Greet and Meet" Pizza Party at James Dormitory Common Room |
| Friday, August 28 | |
| 8:00 AM to 9:30 AM | Breakfast At Valentine Hall. |
| 11 a.m. | Campus tours led by current international students (Meet at Quad side of Johnson Chapel) |
| 12 noon | Lunch and info session at Valentine (Gather in Weiler room, first room on left after check-in desk) |
| 1:30 p.m. | Informal activities:1)Football/hanging out on the Quad and 2)Local sightseeing trips |
| 2:00 p.m. | Trip to the bank |
| 6:00p.m | Barbeque dinner for international students sponsored by the Amherst College Centre for Community Engagement- Keefe Campus Center side lawn |
| 8:00p.m. to 11:00p.m | Hanging out in the Campus Center game room. |
| Saturday August 29 | |
| 8:00a.m. to 9:30a.m | Breakfast at Valentine (Gather in Weiler Room, first room on the left after check-in desk) |
| 8:30a.m | Trip #1 to local bank. |
| 9:30a.m | 1) Trip #2 to local bank and 2)Trip #1 to Hampshire Mall |
| 11a.m | 1) Trip #3 to local bank and 2)Trip #2 to Hampshire Mall |
| 11:00a.m-1:00p.m | Lunch at Valentine |
| 5:00p.m-6:30p.m | Dinner in town at “Panda East” |
