It's been a successful semester, including a joint-effort Mozart Requiem, the Five College Choral Festival, a Senior Concert honoring J.C. and Ben, and plenty of Glee Club social festivities. We are gearing up for Commencement, followed immediately by tour with the esteemed Women's Chorus. Our itinerary takes us to Iceland, and after a quick Finland stop, to Estonia. More news to come.

After a successful semester, the Glee Club has decided that the tour this May with Women's Chorus will be to Iceland and Estonia. You'll note website updates as well. Officer updates coming in the next few days. Also, a few songs are available for streaming in the songs section.

Welcome back! The 2006-7 calendar has been put online. As the new freshman class enters, the Glee Club is gearing up for an impressive year, and is anticipating going on tour with the Women's Chorus, either to Estonia and Iceland, or to Spain and Morocco.

The site has been updated with the new roster, officers, and schedule for 2006.

After a long hiatus the website has been updated. The roster has been updated and the Calendar for 2004-2005 will be up within a few days.

The Calendar for 2003-2004 is now available.

At long last, the Glee Club website has stopped looking entirely like ass, and has progressed through half-ass to about one-quarter-ass. With any luck, we can achieve a reduction in ass along the performance of a geometric series, such that its quantity will be undetectable in short order. [editor's note 8/06: who wrote this? and what does it refer to?]

The Glee Club and Women's Chorus completed a fantastic singing tour of Japan. Concert venues included Tokyo, Tono, Kanegasaki (a sister city to Amherst), and Kyoto (home of Doshisha University, also with special ties to the college). Conductor Chernin Mallorie quite sincerely declared it the best Amherst Choral Society tour she has led to date, and that the experience has given her "memories that will last a lifetime."
