The resiliency of the Tibetans and their profound spiritual faith has inspired me since I first photographed the Dalai Lama in India over twenty years ago. On these most recent journeys to Tibet I traveled with an 8x10 inch view camera. The resulting photographs are printed as large as 40x50 inches to create a visual impression of the vastness of the Tibetan spirit.
