The Amherst College Student Chapter of the ACM is a relatively new chapter; we recieved our charter in January of 1999. Our first events were to sponsor a trip to a technology fair in Cambridge, MA, and show Pi in a movie night co-sponsored with the Amherst chapter of the Mathematical Association of America.

Our faculty sponsor is Cathy McGeoch.
Our original (and current) officers are:
Kristina Roberts '01, Chair
Rachel Rubin '01, Vice-chair
Chris Maloof '02, Secretary
Grigori Kapoustin '00, Treasurer

If you're interested in joining, email us!
And if you're so inclined... read our bylaws
